A Reason to Hope

Although the number of protestors has significantly dwindled for these 3 plus months, I am thankful for every hour spent with my friends there. I have learned a lot and have been immensely enriched by each and everyone of them.

You haven't given up the cause of justice although your voice has been neglected for more than 100 days.
You haven't given up the cause of truth and daily remind the government about every foolish decision they make.
You haven't given up the cause of freedom and have boldly pointed to the real enemy: foreign and domestic oligarchic monopolies driven by selfishness and greed.
You haven't given up the cause of dignity by refusing to be counted among those who don't care.

Nobody knows your names. Media is not interested in who you are and what you do. But I know them. So, I can say: thank you, Joro and Margo, Ani, Yassen, Desi, Mitko, Vesi and many others... Thank you because in you, in spite of the grim political status quo, I can see that Bulgaria still has many dignified sons and daughters who are willing to fight for freedom, justice, truth and dignity. That's a reason to hope that change is possible.

May the Lord bless us and keep us!
