Moldova fundraise

In a month I will be leaving on a missionary trip to Moldova, together with 7 other students and staff from BHSS. We will spend a week there and will visit Bulgarian villages, and two cities - Taraklia and Cishinau. Taraklia is predominantly populated by Bulgarians. We will hopefully be able to give a lecture at the Bulgarian university and the Bulgarian high school there.

The best thing about this undertaking is that it is sponsored by Bulgarian churches. I made a video with information about the Bulgarian diaspora there and we have been using it to appeal for prayer and funds support to churches. So far we have raised more than 2000 leva (1000 euro). Only our church gave 913 leva! I feel very blessed to be part of such a church. The evangelical community in Bulgaria showed that they can really sow sacrificially for the gospel. I am especially proud that people open their hearts for the plight of their compatriots who have once run for their lives, threatened to be enthnically cleansed by the Turks after the unsuccessful Russian-Turkish war in Bulgaria.
