It's already October. The weather has been quite warm but today turned rather called. Again no fall, we move straight from summer to winter.

Debi and Moni have been 'on vacation' for 3 weeks now. The teachers are on strike demanding 100 percent increase on their salaries. The government is willing to give them some money but say such an increase would cause a financial collapse of the state... Perhaps that's an overstatement, yet it seems to me that the teachers trade unions have been more stubborn then necessary. It looks like the girls will be off school at leaset one more week...

I just got some pictures from our summer football turnament in Macedonia. I will post them here. It was great to play some football with the teams of the Albanian and Macedonian student movements. We played 6 matches for 4 days, that was a bit too much for me. Also, we took a trip to a lake nearby and did sightseeing in Skopje.
